Timely Update

0 min read
I just realized I hadn't posted anything here in over two years so I figured I should at least update things a little. I'm now a full-time student again.  This time, I'm going to City College of San Francisco as the first step in my pursuit of a Bachelor's in Computer Science.  After my failed attempt at the Art Institute, I decided it's best to leave my art in the realm of personal hobbies.  No promises to the prospect of new artwork.  After things went south at AI, my artistic mojo has been lacking.  I'm trying not to force anything as that was part of the cause for my previous problems. School is going well enough so far.  I just recentl

....Hello new job. So, I am now employed again.  I am very happy about this.  Happy enough that I'm almost tempted to make an entry consisting solely of "I got a job!" pasted repeatedly.  I won't bore anyone too much about the details, but it turns out that my past job experiences were enough to garner the attention of a few employers.  Thankfully, the one I chose to pursue involved the occasional opportunity to travel overseas which was something I'd been missing since I left the Navy.  Visiting other countries was always a highlight of that experience for me. Well, I think I may have neglected this account even more than my last one.  Sadly, that is partly due to my time at The Art Institute not working out.  Unfortunately, all the blame falls on me for that.  I had hoped being in an environment like that would revive my creativity and love for drawing, but it actually made things worse.  I now find it nearly impossible to attempt to draw or pursue any similar activity without ending up a nervous and overly self-critical wreck.  That, combined with my recently discovered dislike for using 3D modeling programs, basically sounded the death knell for my attempt at getting a Game Art and Design degree

How's it going my friend?
NATE IM ADDING YOU OK ??OK!! How was Seattle you lucky bastard???
Seattle was rainy and cold when I drove through it. I'm actually staying a bit further up north in Oak Harbor right now. Aside from the rain, it hasn't been too bad.

I was thinking recently that, schedules permitting, we should take a road trip up here. It would take less than a day if we take turns driving.
OMFG ROADTRIP YES!!!

Sorry, I get excited. But yes, I am all for a roadtrip anytime. I have Sundays and Mondays off so yup. Whats everyone else got?

And whut movie were you thinking of seeing? I was all "wait, theres movies out??" Anything good?
Well, I highly encourage constructive criticism if you feel like saying more.
